Sir Nocturne, I must tell you this tale. Yesterday, I was in my first ranked game for Season 3. I was jungling and had the worst luck of having to pick between you and Udyr. In the end, I picked Udyr. We lost the game in 50 minutes, 25-36. I ended with 6/10/5. Do you think this is some way of your darkness telling me that I made a mistake? I must know!

All Summoners at one point will realize my power, although I must say that both myself and Udyr are good picks for jungling. Udyr, however, falls off lategame unlike myself, who can scale well with decent CS. It may have indeed been a warning that you should next time embrace the darkness…

If you ask me, the league is designed so each champion can be balanced to fight each other. That’s why all the humans remain standing; can you imagine what havoc I’d wreak if they let me loose? I await this day (night)…hahaha!

Sometimes Nocturne felt like his life was one big joke instead of the horror story he would prefer. This was one of those times. Dates with the Lady of Luminosity were bad, but this was the absolute worst. He was NOT a pack mule, despite what she seemed to think when they went shopping. His blades were for hacking and slashing; not carrying wrapped packages. This was a steep price for freedom, and he was starting to wonder if it was worth it. Someday, he promised, he would have his revenge.

There are so many things wrong with this (other than the idea that I’d kill Lux). How is a nightmare going shopping? When would I EVER agree to follow that annoying, light-bringing abomination around? And finally, why is TARIC of all champions narrating a story involving me that never happened? The sheer existence of fear in tandem of magic is what made me possible. Sleep is when humans are most vulnerable, and a common fear is of death. Death by a living thing’s hands. In this case, my own hands and weapons.

It’s not my choice whether or not a summoner chooses to summon me. I’m (grudgingly) bound to the League rules. A summoner can summon a champion as they so please. You may drink coffee, but you’ll fall asleep sometime, and when you do, I’ll be sure to give you quite the scare.

I could take you on any day in the field of justice. Any rebuttal tall, dark and scary?

I never have to eat, sleep, or do anything limiting that mortals have to do. I exist non-physically and am virtually invincible since I am in part of the human mind that they cannot access easily themselves.
